In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices that contain batteries, the seller is obliged to inform you of the following: As an end-user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries. You can return batteries free of charge to the seller or at designated collection points (e.g. municipal collection points or in retail stores) after use. You can also send the batteries back to the seller by post with sufficient postage.

The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:

 

- Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead

- Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium

- Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury.

 

The symbol of the crossed-out waste bin means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
